Not only does Cocoa West make the most wonderful chocolates I've ever tasted, but they will take special orders and produce gluten & soy-free (and MUCH better quality) versions of the typical Easter and Sinterklaas chocolates that our family "needs"... for hardly more than the cost of buying the prepackaged, mainstream, not-so-tasty versions available elsewhere.
Joanne and Carlos are truly amazing artists, who not only share their visual (& musical!) arts graciously with our community, but also fabulously manage to make a living of it, giving us all the opportunity to bring the beauty they create into our own souls. They are a a gift to our community.
Bowen Island is 20 square miles of rock lying two miles off the west coast of Canada. It is home to 3700 people, three mountains, two valleys, four lakes, about 15 beaches, two species of salmon, one village and me and my family.
